He was born May 8th, 1934 in Newark, NJ, the son of late Arthur and Harriett Davis. He attended Union City High School in NJ and with a deep love for his country, Ken served in the Army for 4 years.
Being a native of New Jersey, Ken returned to attend Uppsala University of East Orange, NJ and graduated with a bachelors in business.
Ken’s strong business acumen and innate interpersonal skills, led him to Baltimore, Maryland where he owned and managed MRI executive recruiting firm for 25 years. Ken was a 30 year member, and served on the board as president, of the Rotary Club of Baltimore. A group involved in philanthropic activities focused on youth services and community organizations in Baltimore City. His longstanding commitment to these organizations was where he made friendships that lasted a lifetime.
Along with his interest in business and his community, Ken enjoyed golfing, hunting, traveling, and pretty much anything that involved being around people. He truly was a lover of “life” and his passion was contagious to anyone around him. He was driven, hardworking, motivating but most of all extremely caring and kind.
Above all, Ken’s family was his top priority. Whether he was traveling with his wife, golfing or hunting with his children or just making his weekly “check in” calls, he made sure to let everyone know he was there for any advice or support needed. He was a beloved husband to Beverly Barone-Davis, the late Elizabeth Davis and the late Dolores Reid-Jacob.
