Beloved forever

Even months after him passing, I think of my dear friend often. He got me through many tough parts of high school. He is such a wonderful and funny person. He made me smile every minute I was with him. I loved him. I considered him a brother. It’s a struggle to describe how much he meant to me, and how much I miss him.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Okolo,
You don't know me.  Our sons ran track together.  I saw King around, but never really met him.  All of the warm and wonderful notes about him speak volumes about the fine young man you raised.  As a parent my heart breaks for you, King  and King's siblings every time he crosses my thoughts.  I say prayers for your family often.

Like many of the teachers at Winand Elementary School, I remember King David as a wonderful student. He leaves a legacy as a hard-working, respectful, and caring person. He could be counted on to put his best effort into effort task that was given to him.  Everyone who came into contact with King David remembers him with loving thoughts that will last forever.

I do not have a memory of  Ifeoma, only memories of you at work at Catholic Charities. If your son was even half the person you are, he was a wonderful. I send my sympathies. May your heart be comforted by family, friends and faith.  No words could say something that will help right now. 

So sorry for your loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Praying for the family. 

KingDavid Esomchimaga Okolo. A true King whose compassion and beautiful smile Will greatly be missed. This is heartbreaking but God’s ways are not our ways and your name, "Esomchimaga" means you will go wherever your God leads you.  We have no choice but to accept it.
