Leonard Yankelunas

As The Patriarch of the family, his strength and wisdom was an inspiration to all. His courageous heart served our country in the military, his brilliant mind led Stromberg Carlson in countless endeavors, and his kind soul will be remembered forever by all those who loved him.

Adoring husband to Mary Janice and devoted father to Maryrose Hart and her husband, Gregg; Edward Yankelunas and his wife, Catherine; Judith Yankelunas Merritt and her husband, Eric; Leonard Yankelunas and his fiancé Carol Warner; and Paul Yankelunas and his partner, Brett Newberger; an adoring grandfather to Michelle, Paul and Jennifer Hart, Jessica Yankelunas, Christina Howard, Christine Thompson, Joseph Morono, Mary Hart, Jonathan and Christopher Yankelunas; and five great-grandchildren, Owen Hart, Liam McIntyre, Abraham Howard, Hudson Thompson, and Rhonan Mazei.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 4pm to7pm.

A Graveside Service will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 134 S. Washington Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706 on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 12:30pm.
