Linda Jean Gayle, born on April 20, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 75. Linda was a resident of Middle River, Maryland; loving significant other of 10 years to Herb Tart; devoted mother of Melissa Carnes, Dellie Miller and her significant other Troy, and Christine Stenersen and her husband Tighe; cherished grandmother of Matthew Rippard, Jeffery Rippard and his wife Anna, Madison Clere, Izabella Kaecher, and the late Megan Stang; cherished great-grandmother of Brian Powell, Jr. Bryce Stang, and Mehlani Newton; dear sister of David Peacock and his wife Denise, and Ted Peacock and his late wife Rose, and the late Elizabeth Roland-Fickus.
Linda is preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Irene Peacock.
She is also survived by other loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road, on Thursday November 13, 2025 from 5-7 pm, where a Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Jessop United Methodist Church Cemetery.
