MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES TO ALL OF HER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS.  LINDA WAS ALWAYS SO KIND AND SWEET.  SHE TREATED ME AS A FAMILY MEMBER.  SHE BOUGHT ME A SPINACH AND STRABERRY SALAD WHEN SHE VISTED WITH HER NEICE ENONI.  SHE KNEW HOW MUCH I LOVED IT.  THAT WAS SUCH A SPECIAL MEMORY THAT I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH.  SHE WAS SUCH A SPECIAL PERSON AND KNOWING THAT WE'LL ALL SEE HER AGAIN, ACTS 24:15, MAKES ME HAPPY.  I LOVED HER VERY MUCH.

This is one of many trips to the Maryland Fair, but there are so many memories of and with you that I will cherish forever!! I miss you and love you always Auntie 😘❤️❤️😘

I’ll always remember Mrs Smith from my childhood, cheering on the sidelines at every sporting event. She was such a dedicated mother—kind, supportive, and genuinely caring to all of us kids on the teams. Whenever I’d call their house, she never failed to ask how my mom and dad were doing and would check in on Mike to make sure he was behaving himself. As I got older, every time I saw her, she greeted me with that same warmth and kindness that made her so special. I liked her very much and will truly miss her. God bless her, and my prayers are with her and the family.

To be honest I am just beginning to process the depths and breath of our loss of Linda,  my sister-in-love.

Linda is a very special  person.   A woman dedicated to family, friends, children and all she met.  Whatever she did she gave it her best.  Today I realize she is and will always be a person who is even now larger than life.  

I dare say there are many of us who are recipients of her kindness and thoughtfulness .  Those times when she made so many of our everyday life events like birthdays, showers, going away parties, you name it, if she knew about it  those events became some of our more cherished memories just because of her.  

Remember her heart she gave of it so freely.   She had  a big heart and shared that love and caring with each and everyone of us.  And I know she is not done showing us the way yet…  

Here is what I think of or hear  most in my mind when I think of Linda.  These  words and words  Linda and I would always  say when we’d see each other ( while sharing hugs and kisses),  or when ending our  phone calls or texts and  always we’d say goodbye…

“Take care...   Talk to you later..  Love you.. ……”

With deepest sympathy to Linda’s family! We met Linda approximately 40 years ago. We coached our daughters in club soccer! Linda was one of the kindest, friendliest, supportive person we have ever met. She treated our daughters and our soccer teams as if they were her own children! May you Rest In Peace dear friend!

My kids always started trick or treating at Ms. Linda’s house. She always made special bags for them. She would also come to their soccer games. They still remember that. I moved away from Bmore years ago but happened to be in town during her 70th birthday. The picture above. It was so fun to get to hug and see her and the family. I will always remember all the parties the Smith/Saunders family hosted for every occasion. She always made me feel loved and welcomed. I was very grateful to be able to FT with her in the ICU not knowing that would be the last time. Sending all my love and prayers  to you!

Sis, you have left a vast emptiness in our lives that is that impossible to fill, but you have also left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories filled with love and great times, along with a legacy that that has already been passed down  and will continue to be handed down / forwarded to your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. So rest easy Big Sis, knowing we’ve got them too. Until we meet again, Love Karen 💕💔💕

It’s so hard to put into words how Linda/sister-in-law/Aunt Linda has touched our lives. We are so grateful to have been a part of her family and shared in her love and laughter. So many memories; she always kept the party going. The number one party planner. What an amazing person, and what a beautiful, remarkable life she lived. Celebrating the life of a wonderful woman and mourning her passing with all of her family.

My beautiful Aunt used to give us a Duke of Hazard car ride to her late loving grandmother's house. If anyone remembers Ashland rd with those twists, turns and crazy bumps, we'll Auntie would tell us " hold on" speed up so when that car dropped I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. But th man inside that little boy that I was would let me cry so I grit my teeth and when she asks " did yall like that" l said yeah but my face said no.and one time she turned th inside light on and saw my face she was laughing so hard I thought she was gonna cry laughing so hard. But we would yell go faster everytime we went that way to g grandmothers. And I'll never forget that blue jacket she wore at C&P Telephone and all  those donuts from Dunkin she had on her table every time I would get dropped off at that white house her and Uncle B had. I remember she would go around and tell all th kids " give me a number" " whats th number gonna be " . She is one of th 3 females in my life that made sure my childhood was NOT one that I'd hate to look back on. Thank you so much Auntie for caring and loving us th way you did. Th way only you could love us unconditionally- you will be missed but always will be remembered and celebrated in my heart. May your soul be free!!

From junior high until you left my side you have been a constant companion (and sister).  Always available for short funny catch ups or hour long conversations that explored our hopes and dreams for us, our children and grandchildren.   You will be missed for your thoughtfulness, your delicious cooking, and all the ways you took care of family.  You cherished family and the family feels the loss of your presence.  Heaven has gained the best party planner!
There is an empty spot in my heart but I know we will see each other again   Rest in Peace my sister / friend.

Mrs Smith modeled how a sports parent should be, loving, supportive and always present. I spent many a summer day with Mrs Smith on the sidelines watching my brother and Mike play baseball or watching my sister play soccer with Nikki. And then later having her cheer us all on being on teams at Dulaney with Nikki. A wonderful woman that will be missed.
