Just learned of Mr. Lionel's passing.  He was a very generous and compassionate man.  What he and Miss Fran did for the kids of Hillendale back in the '70s will always be remembered.  Their door and hearts were ALWAYS open.  Peace and comfort to Miss Fran, Debbie, Susan and Lonnie and their families.

But I can tell already that he must have been a very fine man, who knew how to do family so well.  I know he was loved, and you were blessed to have him.

Dear Frannie,  I will always remember Lionel when he came to office to pick you up from a long day.  He was such a kind and pleasant man to be around and you were a perfectly matched pair.  May God keep you in his prayers and comfort you in the days to come.  You were blessed to have him in your life, and we were blessed to have known him.
