Manuel Galdámez was known as a sweet individual to all those who met him. He leaves behind in El Salvador a treasured family including his devoted mother Elvira and two loving sisters, Ana and Gloria. Other family members who had a lasting effect on his caring personality were his father Antonio and younger brother Orlando. More locally, he was exceptionally close to his brother and sister, Hugo and Sonia, both who adored him, as well as their families, all who looked forward to his visits. His partner of two decades, Mark, had his world changed for the better by Manuel’s passion for life as well as his love of music, movies, and flowers. He enjoyed cooking although he claimed he didn’t do it well, and he loved learning about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
Manuel came to this country with dreams of starting a business but instead became a blessing to those around him. His laughter was infectious and real, and he could brighten a room with his shy but sincere smile. He spoke fondly of everyone he encountered on his journey and enjoyed telling stories of his youth in El Salvador. He will be missed by more people than he would ever have imagined.
The family will receive friends in the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 12 until 2 PM at which time a Celebration of Manuel's Life will take place.
Interment is private.
