Family - forever - for always...facing life together.

I will miss your Mom and will always remember her wonderful sense of humor and the love for her family that were always so evident.  She was a lovely lady.

On  September 8, 2016, 62 years of an amazing marriage came to an end with the passing of my mother-in-law. Nannie, we will keep your memories and love alive for Poppy.

-62 years of marriage, so in love till the very last day. Forever loved and missed. Rest in peace Nanny.❤

You lived a great love story and were loved back just as fiercely until the very end. Rest in peace Nannie. I hope I'll keep making you proud.

You had many wonderful memories of your mom and the love she felt for you and your family - there is no greater love than that of a mother. 

I remember your mom for her joyful and happy spirit.  She really enjoyed joking with us as we  headed out on the town during our single years.

George, I know you feel blessed to have spent as much time as you did with your mother as the Lord prepared to bring her home.  May her spirit live in you heart now and always.

Gone From My Sight

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, "There, she is gone."

Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, "There, she is gone," there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, "Here she comes!"

And that is dying..."

Gone from my sight; forever in my heart. Goodby, my beautiful, beloved mother.
