Her marriage of 65 years to Ed was a model of love and devotion, which produced a family of four children, all of whom have followed in their footsteps with marriages of their own and 10 special grandchildren. Marguerite lived a life devoted to the blessed mother and deep faith in God. She was always a force to be reckoned with, most notably during their journey to South Africa in the early years of their marriage, with young children in tow. Marguerite and Ed settled in Butler, Maryland at their At Last farmstead, where they raised chickens, pigs, sheep and Jack Russell terriers, and graciously hosted innumerable family and friends as guests. Their final years were comfortably and happily spent at the guesthouse of Tom and Jennifer Moore’s South Meadows farm in Monkton, Maryland. Marguerite will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
