Mary Simpson Gorman, 94, passed away on July 19, 2021; loving wife of the late Albert Gorman, Jr.; beloved mother of Elizabeth G. Gilchrist and her husband Andrew L., and William S. Gorman; dear sister of the late Elizabeth R. Simpson and Camilla S. Wharton; also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 15, 2021 at Druid Ridge Cemetery, 7900 Park Heights Ave., Baltimore, Maryland 21208 (Pikesville).
Due to the current Covid situation the family plans to hold a celebration of Polly's life at a later date. As most know, art was her major passion in life and so the family hopes to display some of her work in a setting where people can mingle, relax and enjoy themselves. Hopefully that time will come soon.
The family will be in touch with everyone when the situation improves enough to gather together safely. In the meantime, please check this website for updates and additions.
