On December 31, 2017 MARY E. RUSSELL; loving wife of the late Bernard J. Russell; beloved mother of Katie Tress and her husband Dan, Patty Buckheit and her husband Ron, Joe Russell and his wife Peggy, Peggy Collins and her husband Mike, Bill Russell and his wife Liz, Clare Witmer and her husband Todd; dear sister of the late Hilda James, William, Jack and Dorothy Carew; cherished "Mom-Mom" of Mike (Meghan), Megan, Andrew (Farren) Tress and Kathleen Hollman (Ryan), Kellie Simons (Jeremy) and Kristen Maszarose (Rob), Jen Slane (Tim), Brendan and Kayley Russell, Kevin (Christine), Chris (Cara) and Caitlin Collins, Matthew, Caroline, Mairead and Colin Russell, and Shane and Abby Witmer; dear great-grandmother of Peyton and Wyatt Simons, Maren and Riley Maszarose, Connor Slane, Liam Collins and Wells Collins.

Mary was a 1941 graduate of Mount Saint Agnes High School and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Following her career in nursing she was a devoted mother, home maker and volunteer to numerous school and charitable events.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 2 to 4pm and

7 to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 200 Ware Avenue, Towson, Maryland 21204 on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10am.

Interment New Cathedral Cemetery.
