On Friday, February 18, 2011 Melinda Genetta Price, formerly of Richmond, lost her battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Raymond “Jack” Woolford, of Baltimore, MD; brother Robert E. Price, Jr. of Richmond, VA and devoted friends Patti and Tom Redfern and Doug and Mary Ann Owen. She was the beloved daughter of the late Robert Earl, Sr. and Genetta Taylor Price and sister Lucille Price Rose. Melinda is also survived by many aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
A memorial service followed by internment will be held in the Westhampton Memorial Park, 1000 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA 23238 on Saturday, March 12 at 11AM.
Melinda’s was celebrated in the Timonium United Methodist Church, 2300 Pot Spring Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, February 26 at 11AM. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in Melinda’s name to Gilchrist Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350 Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
