Norman Charles Jacobs

Norman (Jake) lost his bravely-fought battle with cancer on November 9, 2025. Preceding him in death were his parents Norman William & Catherine Irene (née Leech), sisters Mary Catherine Lorenzo, Peggy Barshinger and Barbara Jacobs. He is survived by his loving wife & best friend for over 40 years, Robbin (nee Parks). He is also survived by sisters Penny LeCates and Jeannie Wilder, brother John, nephew Christopher and sister-in-law Deborah Yost along with much extended family. Jake had many great friends who were always there for him. His faithful dog, Bettsie never left his side.

His love of motor sports and in particular, Triumph motorcycles endured through this life. He raced in his young years, where he first met Robbin, and continued riding, being a very active member of the BCTRA (Baltimore County Trail Riders Assoc) for decades. Nothing made him happier than a country ride with buddies, stopping along the way for a beer or two or… He started an annual tradition of riding every January 1st, regardless of the weather. Some trips were longer than others!

Jake was the hardest of workers, driving tractor trailers throughout most every state in the country for well over 50 years, begrudgingly retiring only recently.

There will be a party celebrating his life including plenty of Natural Light and the music he loved at a future date.
