Patrice Cochran, age 73, of Alexandria, Virginia and Towson, Maryland died peacefully in her sleep on February 5. She was predeceased by her loving parents Neal and Anne Cochran. She was an exceptional and gifted teacher in the Fairfax County School system teaching gifted and talented 11th grade English and Film, a passion of hers. She was beloved by her students many of whom still reach out to her. She was a graduate of Drew University and had a master’s degree in English from the University of Maryland. She is survived by her sisters, Dr. Barbara Cochran of Freeland, Maryland and Marion Cochran Lunt of Amityville, New York, aunt Mary Lou Cochran of Chicago, Illinois and Uncle and Aunt Francis and Barbara Cochran of Mountain View, California. Also survived by many Chicago and California cousins.
Visitation is from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 West Padonia Road, Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Friday, February 7, 2025
Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, 118 East Second Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701 on Saturday February 8, 2025 at 11AM.
Internment Mt. Olivet Cemetery Frederick, Maryland.
