Jean, I just learned of your mother's passing this afternoon. I am sorry I wasn't able to make it to the service for her, would have liked to. 
I remember meeting your family when you first moved into Brecon place. You were just a tot, and I wasn't much bigger! We played as kids but lost touch as we grew older. I would meet up with your mom on occasion, when I was back in Cockeysville. She would always reminisce about seeing my dad out and about around my old homestead, and was saddened when she heard of his passing, and then my mom's. 
She, as well as your dad, were very dear and kind people. My life was better for having known them, as well as Rusty, and of course you!
My prayers are with you and the rest of your family.

I married into this family in 1982, and even though my marriage ended, this family has and did accept me as a part of their family.    I know that every family has that favorite aunt.  My family does, and Aunt Berty is and always will be that favorite Aunt.  I am so thankful I knew her, and that recently I was able to have the most wonderful afternoon lunch of my life with this special lady!  We talked about getting together again, but her time was not to be.  She will forever be in my heart.  Aunt Berty, please give our family Hugs & Kisses for me.  Until we meet again,   Love Ginny.

I remember going to Aunt Berty and uncle Phil's house as a kid. She would always sneak us goodies in the kitchen when my parents weren't looking. For the longest time I always thought she was my grandmother until high school when mom told me she wasn't. I will always love her as though she was. When I could I would take my nephews over to see her. She last saw them around Christmas time and said they were getting so big. Her great great nephews will miss her.

She is now at peace with uncle Phil and Rus.

My Aunt Berty was The Best Aunt in the world to me.  She was my Mother's younger sister, and was like a second Mother to me and my two Brothers and two Sisters.  I will always remember as a child going to see her and Uncle Phil at their home.  And her Butter & Sugar Bread she always gave Me.  And I will cherish the times I visited her with my children, and in later years with my 3 grandsons.  Heaven indeed has grown with one New Angel in its Kingdom.

Berty was a kind and friendly neighbor to all of us on Brecon Place.  One of our favorite memories is of our daughter Taylor who would ride her bike with her wagon attached up and down the street.  Her boundry was Berty and Phil's house.  So she would use their driveway to turn around but she always stopped to visit & chat with Berty & Phil while in the driveway. Berty always kept an eye on Taylor when she was out playing and we  appreciated that very much. We also enjoyed talking with Berty & Phil whenever we saw them outside. She missed her Phil & Rus very much and we take comfort knowing she is reunited with him and Rus again. God bless Berty she will be missed.
