
 Roger has been a major contributor to the Tombstone studies, and we have learned a great deal from his work and research. I very my enjoyed my email discussions with Roger an appreciated his work. He has created a very well respected legacy in Western studies. He will be deeply missed by our community or researchers.

We are very saddened to hear of your loss. Roger's passing is our loss also; he was our second cousin. His grandmother Loretta was our grandmother, Sophia's, sister. Darlene and I were deeply saddened to hear of Roger's passing.  We both enjoyed visiting with him at Eddie's, where we shared our love of Hopkins Lacrosse.
Roger would fill me in on the progress of the team.  I will miss his insight and most of all his company.

Ann, now we're so especially glad you and Roger made it to Janice's 70th birthday dinner in September.  Imagine, about 58 years since we became friends in seventh grade at St. Joseph's School in Lewiston, Maine. That September evening  Roger looked sharp and always so intelligent and kind.  We are so sorry and love you very much.

Ann,  There are no words that can express the sorrow I feel for your loss, I am so sorry to hear this!  I believe I met your husband at your retirement party, and he was just the nicest man. You, and your family are in my prayers.

Very sorry to learn of Roger's death. I am a Scranton Central High School Class of 1963 classmate of Roger's.  Growing up in the Hill Section of Scranton we sledded and played backyard sports together in our youth.  He was a Prescott Grade School alum as well.  A real nice guy and friend.  He will be missed.

I knew Roger from Hopkins lacrosse games. He was the most knowledgeable and perceptive fan of the Blue Jays. He will be missed at Homewood.

Roger, simply a very nice man. My mother Betty Boulware spoke so highly of him and on my opportunities to meet Roger I was sure to see his most pleasant smile and have a chuckle or two. Dearest Ann prayers, thoughts of strength, and hope are extended from the Boulware family with love.

I was very sad to learn of Roger's death.  We shared a number of classes at Scranton Central High and traded the occasional elbow under the basket.  Despite not having seen Roger since our CHS'63 graduation, I still considered him a very good friend. He will be missed.  Sincere condolences to you and your family. Dear Ann,  My name is David Wenzel and I graduated from Scranton Central High School with Roger. I know a lot of the other graduates would like to hear about his life after high school. I am so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. He was a loyal fan to Blue Jay lacrosse, a knowledgeable student of the game and a dear friend to my parents, Jim and Dorothy Zimmerman. My condolences to his wife Ann.

Roger had a gifted talent as a writer.  His published writings of the "Wild West" will be missed.  The beaches of Prouts Neck will miss the visits and walks along the surf.  Roger and Ann spent many summers with their special friend and colleague, Ann Marie.  The Albert Family extends their sincere sympathy and condolences.

Roger loved to walk the beaches of Prouts Neck during his visits with Ann Marie Albert.  He and Ann would stay with Ann Marie sharing many memories of mutual classmates and special friends.  Roger had a gifted passion for the "Wild West" and his published writings share his successes.
