Grandma, it's taken me a while to be able to write a message because I felt like I had so much to say and not sure where to start. And where do I start? I'll miss your presence but I know that your life force and voice will forever live on in me. I want to thank you for being such a great grandmother... you took me in and wrapped me up in your arms and love from the first moment you met me. I never felt less than with you. You were always willing to help me, and were there to teach me things- be it cooking, being a woman, and just life in general. You always made stewed tomatoes when I came to visit, even tho none of my siblings appreciated the dish. You were always supportive. I will always wish that there was more time to be had with you. We take time for granted and I'm sorry I did but I know that I can keep you in my heart forever. I love you. I love all of my additional aunts and uncle and cousins that you were a direct force in making into the loving people that they are. I know that they too are missing you and I wish I could be there to hug everyone. 

Sarah we have had so many precious moments. You have been the best big sister.  I am going to miss our family gatherings with you, our phone conversations, our trips,sharing gardening ideas and your beautiful smile, just to name a few things. I will dwell on the wonderful memories. I prayed God would give us more time with you, but he saw the road was getting ruff  and he called you home. You are now resting in peace. I thank God and the Ancestors for giving me the opportunity to share her light of love.  My heart broke when I heard of her transition into into the Colony of the Ancestors.  She will be missed. Good morning, Family, 
It’s my understanding that today is a very special day for our Green-Blackston family because many of you will gather to honor our precious Sarah, a beautiful flower in the Almighty’s Holy garden. 
It’s one of many days that we each will share with our Sonny and their children speaking of the beauty and love of Sarah. I’m so sorry that we won’t be there in person, but our hearts are surely with you. 
I woke up this morning in prayer and deep thought about Sarah and want to share that like you all felt I, too, think of Sarah as a very beautiful and precious gift. She remains in my heart even though I only spent a comparatively short time in her physical presence. 
The very first time I met Sarah was over 30 years ago. Her loving, relaxed style and presence invited me in to my Maryland family. Her smile was warm. Her words were kind. Her heart was open. She was a special gift to me in a way that made me welcome and valued as one of my new family. 
I thank you, Sarah. I love you dearly, and I will miss you, knowing that I won’t see you in the physical again, but I know that I will always have your beautiful spirit to remember and hold preciously and dearly in my heart forever.
You were sent by the Almighty to make this world a better place and that you did. Sending you all our love. Praying that our Heavenly Father comfort you and bring you everlasting peace and love.

Sis. Sarah Green was a beloved sister, friend and prayer partner of mine. She was a devoted member of Pikesville International SDA Church. Specifically, she was a major contributor to the Pikesville Seniors Ministry. She was a Darcas, a woman of God in words and deeds. 
We will miss her beautiful smile and happy ways of helping others whenever needed. Sleep on, take your rest . This is not goodbye but see you in the morning.

Sister Sarah Green was warm, welcoming, encouraging, with the most engaging smile.  Her daughter Sarah introduced me to her family as together we fed the homeless in Baltimore City for years. I was treated like family on those gatherings. How can I forget those hugs and smiles each time she saw me. 
Even through her illness she had the most positive attitude and was hopeful believing in God's promises. Her faith was strong. 
Sarah, Theresa, Joyce, Broden, and all the other family members may you be comforted in all the memories and legacy that  Sister Sarah gave you. May the promise of God's resurrection bring you peace and comfort.
Looking forward to the grand "getting up morning" to see her smile again!

It is sad to learn of the dead of mum to my sisters in Christ, Theresa and Sarah , mother in-law to my brother in Christ,  Broden. I remember the three very well for the wonderful evangelistic campaign  that they carried on in our country Kenya in the year 2006. I wish to remind you that we have a hope beyond the grave and one fine morning our Lord will come to take us to our eternal home. The last enemy to be destroyed is death (1 Cor 15:26). May God give you the strength and comfort needed at these grieving moments

Although I was not your flesh and blood, you always accepted me (and my sister) as your own granddaughters. I was always proud to call you Grandma and can personally attest that you helped raised the best of children including my Step-mother (Theresa).  As you have gone to your rest I know that the world is all the lesser for your loss. I’ll always hold you in my heart and love you forever. ❤️🙏🏽

Sarah Russell, I did not have the opportunity to meet your mother personally, many times you spoke of your love for her with a warm smile. I believe this passage is a memory of your mother.

In 1969, I moved to 4006 Fairfax Rd., I had just gotten married. Shortly after moving there, to my surprise, I gained an instant family, along with the family I already had, another brother, sister and six kids.
There mother Sarah had a sweet, kind and humble spirit. Sarah loved her family. Everytime I saw Sarah, she would be smiling, she spoke in a very low gentle manner.
After a few years, I moved away, but they continued to be a part of my family. We officially became a family, because of the union between Joy and my brother. Sarah will be greatly missed and I will continue to check on the family.

I cried when you passed away, I still cry today, Although I loved you dearly, I couldn’t make you stay, Your golden heart 💛 stopped beating, we laid you down to rest, god broke my heart💔 to prove, that he only takes the best 🕊

Sarah will forever be in my thoughts.
