Born in Baltimore on October 18th 1956, he was the second child of Ivan Bryant Jr and Esther Blackstock. Scott graduated from Northern High School and briefly worked for Baltimore Car & Truck Rental and at City Associates Security Holdings. He relocated to Ocean City and began working construction, helping to build some of Ocean City’s most recognizable hotels, including The Plaza.
Defying the traditional stereotype of a construction-worker, he loved to read, particularly military history, and his bookcases were stacked several rows deep. He was unbeatable at Trivial Pursuit, had a near-encyclopedic knowledge of firearms and greatly loved animals. Always chasing a thrill, he enjoyed motorcycles, dirtbikes and surfing.
He was outgoing, had an easy charm, and was always ready with a joke and a smile. He leaves behind two sisters, Debbie Nelson and Laurie Bryant, as well as 4 nieces and 2 nephews. He will be missed.
