Shirley Jane Cover (nee Herndon), age 89, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024; beloved wife of 67 years of the late William J. Cover; devoted mother of Debra Ann Strubin and her husband Raymond, Gary William Cover, and his wife Vicki, and Darin Gregory Cover and his wife Lisa; cherished grandmother of Keri, Rusty, Lindsey, Courtney, G.W., C.J., Trey, Ryan, Darin Jr. and Colin; loving great-grandmother of Ryan, Chloe, Connor, Bradley, Cas, Bodie, Brydan, Tripp, Nolan, Thomas, Jack and Henry; dear sister of Kay Francis Sheckells, Hilda Coleen Davis, and the late Jesse Alton Herndon, Charles Frederick Herndon, and John Frederick Herndon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other living family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc., (10 W. Padonia Road) on Wednesday, January 10th from 5-8 pm and on Thursday, January 11th from 9-10 am, where a funeral service will be held at 10 am.
Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
