She was the cherished daughter of the late Angia and Walter Tracey and a beloved wife of the James C. Odom; dear sister to the late Clarence and Ronnie Tracey; devoted mother of the late Linda, Lorraine( Tom Brown), and Sharon .
To know Shirley was to know a woman who loved deeply and gave freely. She found joy in life’s quiet moments—getting lost in a good book, challenging her mind with word games and Sudoku—but nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her family. Her love was steady, her presence comforting, and her care for those around her unwavering.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her loving daughter, Tracey, and her adored grandchildren: Traci (Andrew), Chyloh (Brian), Justin, Lindsey (Danny), Donald (Jessi), Elizabeth (Jeff); and her many great-grandchildren were a constant source of pride and joy, and she treasured each of them deeply.
Shirley’s life was a testament to quiet strength, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warm heart, and the way she made those around her feel cared for and valued. Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
