Stephen Paul Gencel lost his courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2016. Stephen was the loving husband of Joan M. Gencel for 28yrs.; beloved son of the late John and Stephanie Gencel; dear brother of John Gencel and his wife Gayle, Bruce Gencel and his wife Cathy, Doug Gencel and his wife Sheila, Michael Gencel and the late Keith Gencel; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Saturday from 5 to 8PM and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 101 Church Lane, Cockeysville, MD 21030 on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11AM. Interment Private.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be directed in Stephen’s memory to Stella Maris, 2300 Dulaney Valley Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
