I used to live across the street from Mrs Land on Gibbons Blvd. back in the crazy 60's and 70's. I was friends with her daughter Pam. We were always hanging out at her house, walking on stilts that Mr. Land made, and generally having fun. Mrs. Land would drive Pam , Karen and I to Beaver Dam Swim Club for swimming lessons. She was always so nice. I am so sorry that I missed the services, but I just found out from my sister. It would have been great seeing Pam and Karen again. I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care.

Karen, Fran, Pam & Frank,
I am not surprised that your mom passed on the memorial of St Martha. She lived her life with such a strong memory of events that occurred on days of various saints. Martha was the active one, the doer. She also welcomed Jesus into her home and now He is welcoming her to His kingdom where He has prepared a place for her. I think she is still praying her rosary for all of her family.
Praying for the repose of her soul.

I was had the privilege of caring for and enjoyed my contact with Theresa from 1995 until my retirement in 2013. She was quite a gal.
