With many fond memories and my deepest sympathy ... so glad I got to visit his adopted home two years ago and experience his new found contentment.

I write this message with the saddest heart. Tom not only became our neighbor five years ago when he moved to mid-coast Maine but one of my best friends and he became a brother to me.  We shared so many laughs together and he was an integral part of our early morning coffee club.  We miss his stories and our road trips to Bangor where made more fun with him around.  
He would enjoy all the neighborhood parties every year and we will miss his annual New Year’s Day shindig.   I don’t think he ever really realized how much all of his friends and neighbors here in Sandy Point would miss him so much but we sure do. There is a huge void now that no one can ever replace.  Thank you Tom for being YOU.  You will forever be in our hearts.

Tommy was a generous friend way back in the 1960’s when I was new to Baltimore. His parents welcomed me to their home. I will treasure his memory and remember our friendship always.

I was a friend of Tommy's at Gilman.  I remember him fondly as a handsome, bright, charismatic young man.  This past summer, after I learned that Tommy was sick, we corresponded by email.   My wife and I have a house on Chebeague, an island in Casco Bay.  Tommy and I agreed that we were blessed to live in such a beautiful spot as the coast of Maine.  I am blessed to have reconnected with Tommy, and I see him in my mind's eye as young man with a smile on his face.

We are so sorry to hear of Tommy's passing.   My heart is heavy with the loss of my childhood buddy and my heart is heavy for the loss you all are experiencing with the loss of your dad.  He always spoke with such pride of all of you.  I grew up with Tommy and Betsy and am blessed to have so many fond memories of both of them that I hold dear.  I pray that your fond memories of your dad will sustain you through these days ahead.
