Pam,
Please know we are sending happy thoughts and prayers your way daily!  Bruce will truly be missed, however, his amazing smile and wonderful personality will never be forgotten.  We have such great memories of spending time with Bruce at our memorial day parties, new year's eve parties as well as other fabulous neighborhood gatherings.  We feel so blessed to have known Bruce and will never ever forget this amazing man!

Dear Pam,
Bruce always had a way of making other people feel special and it was wonderful to be counted among his friends. The poker parties, catered by you, were such wonderful fun times and Bruce, win or lose, was always at his best. Lots of smiles and laughter. I mention the poker parties but Bruce never missed many parties through out the neighborhood. We are sorry for your loss, he is surely missed by many and we are among them.

Dear Pam and family,

I hope the passing of time will transform the tears of sorrow into laughter as you remember all of the good times that made Bruce so special to you and to his many friends. I will miss our conversations where he would always start with “Let me ask you something”, then would slowly start adding words so that after a while I could begin to see the subject emerging. Bruce was a very kind and polite man; was a good listener and had a full arsenal of funny jokes.

Although we didn't play much poker in the past few years, Bruce was always at the table until we would quit in the wee hours of the morning. He would always start the night by taking a dollar from his pile and putting it in his pocket so that at the end he could go home and still say that he never lost all of his money.

I know that he enjoyed the many New Year's Eves parties that you attended at our home.  He would always make a point to start the evening by thanking us for the invitation; at the end of the party, he would thank us again; and when I saw him during the summer? He would again thank me!  Bruce was always an appreciative man, but I hope he knew that his presence among us made us all better people!

Bruce always offered a helping hand, and did so with a smile that was so infectious. His kindness and thoughtfulness were as genuine as you can get, and he will be remembered always!

Dearest Dunlap Family,

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of Cousin Bruce.  I remember he was always full of laughter and fun when my parents and I had visits with Aunt Nellie and Uncle Vernon and during trips to the ocean when all of us "kids" were little.  I will miss him, but Bruce is with the rest of the departed family now and they can all be happy again together.
