To the sons of Carol and Bill your dad and mom were good friends to me and Bill made it possible for me to get my real estate license when I was a struggling mother of six. You don't know just how much they meant to me at that time. God be with you two and welcome them into your arms.

where do you start with someone like uncle bill?
at birth of course.

picture this: two mullin sisters at mercy hospital - both ready to give birth - mary mullin byrnes and una mullin moore had sons a day apart - at mercy.

bill and phil grew up in baltimore city, first cousins, best friends and brothers.

bill and phil went to loyola hs & loyola college, graduating in the same years, bill and phil both served as navy officers - bill becoming a lawyer, phil a doctor, both building their careers in baltimore.

too many stories to tell but here are a few headlines:

My part of the story: Bill was my boss at O'Conor, Piper and Flynn for a year at the Towson office before I moved to New York. His trainings in the law and other aspects of being a real estate agent were always packed with his expertise mixed with comedy.

I have always had a lot of love in my heart for Bill, a kind uncle and the man who was literally my dad's brother from another mother.

It was my privilege and good fortune to have known Bill Byrnes for over forty years.
Bill became associated with O'Conor Piper & Flynn Realtors in 1984, and he was not only a great business partner, but a good friend, as well.
He was a very talented and bright individual. Bill contributed much to the real estate industry and most importantly to all those with whom he was associated. Bill was well regarded by his peers and always managed to offer a bit of humor to carry the day.
He will be greatly missed by me all who knew him.

Lots of fine memories of Bill from the OPF days. Like the others I worked with, Bill fit in with the group of great men with big hearts who every day made every effort to do the right thing for everyone. RIP Bill. Condolences to the family and friends he leaves behind.
