

On February 26, 2015 William Thomas “Bill” Prime, Jr., was born in Baltimore City in June of 1941. His parents were William T. Prime Sr. and Stella Catherine Popp. He had two sisters, Mildred Wey and Jeanette Hall.
He attended Saint Dominics, Towson Catholic and Parkville High. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam in 1966 and 1967. After his honorable discharge he met and married Mary Helen (nee Frank). They had one daughter, Amy Rebecca Prime Gumina.
Bill worked as a crane operator for Operating Engineers Local 37 in Baltimore City, surrounding counties Washington DC, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania for forty-seven years.
He loved to shoot trap and was a member of Carney Rod and Gun Club. He retired from Operating Engineers Local 37 in 2003. Bill loved gardening and woodworking in their home in Phoenix Maryland.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is the dear "Bunk" of Joshua and Jacob Frank and also survived by Jody and Paul Frank.
The family will receive friends in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, MD 21131, on Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30-11am at which time a Celebration of Bill's life will begin. Interment Private.
