Betty J Schoonmaker

She was born in Toledo on February 17, 1929. Betty was employed with the former Toledo Trust Bank, now Key Bank in various departments for over 40 years, retiring in 1998. After retirement she kept busy volunteering with several groups and spending time with all of her friends.

Betty was very devoted to her family and loved spending time in her garden.

Betty’s parents, Craven and Zoie Dixon preceded her in death.

Betty is survived by her devoted son, Dale (Anne) Schoonmaker, grandchildren, Rob (Cheri) Schoonmaker, Monica (Ryan) Schoonmaker, LeAnne Evans and several great grandchildren.

Visitation for Betty will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Thursday, May 5 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Funeral service will begin in the funeral home at 1:00 pm on Friday. Pastor Thayer Salisbury officiating.

Interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
