What a wonderful lady. Carolyn lived two doors down from me on Hollywood Avenue. My parents were close friends with Carolyn and Paul. I remember the late nights while she studied for a Master's degree. Her daughter, Carol, was my wife's close friend through high school and college. Carolyn gave me a teaching position at Woodward High School and put in a good word for many other family members and friends seeking jobs at the Toledo Board of Education. I knew Carolyn's parents growing up. I even had the opportunity to interview her grandson on television during my time in Dayton in 1990. A great, loving person and family that I will never forget. Carol and Tom...all the best during this difficult time from Linda and Mike Smythe.

I remember working with her at TPS. She was a very nice lady. She used to bring us boxes of See's candy at Christmas. Wonderful!.

Dear Carol and family -- so sad to learn of your mother's passing. We all knew her as a sweet, loving and caring person as well as we knew her sister Corinne to be. It's been several years now that Corinne has passed and I still miss her.

The last time I spent with the two C's was at Dolores' home. After dinner we gals "retired" to the den and just gabbed the entire afternoon. Your mother gave us a wonderful history of her career and how she met Paul and then eventually marrying him. We laffffed alot and reflected on past memories. We let the guys in the kitchen and they missed out on our fun and good time.

Do cherish the memories -- they somehow help to fill the empty void in your hearts. She will long be remembered by all of us.

Take good care of yourselves, go safe and God bless all of you.

Love, Adrienne Styszko
