Homer John was my cousin.  My uncle Homer, Homer John's father, was my mother's brother.  Mom was the oldest of the nine Kimple siblings.  Our family was so large.  I remember Homer John well but we never got to know one another living in different areas.  Our condolences to the Kimple family.  One Kimple sibling survives, my uncle Mel Kimple who is 85.  He was the youngest of the siblings and Homer was his brother.  Uncle Homer had a twin brother named Hubert.  God bless!
