I have so many memories of your mom and dad directing us in the St. Agnes Choir. I also remember buying many Avon products from your mom while sitting in your home on Burton, and seeing you boys as I walked the neighborhood. Blessings and prayers for you at this time.

Wayne -
I am so sorry about your loss. As you know you parents were musically quite influential to me, and I am very grateful for everything they have done for me.

Please allow us to extend our heartfelt sympathy. The Bible teaches that "God is love".(1John 4:16) Take comfort in that love. You are in our prayers.

Wayne and Joe, I am so sory for the loss of your mother.  She is God's hands now and free from pain.  If there is anything Mark or I can do for either of you, please do not hesitate to ask.

I sang In Choirs, including "The Community Singers" for many years under the playing and directing of Don and Joyce.  They were wonderful people and very good to and for their choirs.  I have missed Don and will miss Joyce.  Thank you for all your choir involvement.

Absolute love for your mom, Wayne! She was always the the most kind, welcoming person on the planet!

My sympathies to you. I sang in the choir at 2nd Baptist and always thought fondly of her.

I remember Joyce (and Don) from their involvement with community theatre (TCCYA productions) back in the early 70's.  They were such "bubbly," "vibrant,"  "colorful" and TALENTED individuals.  Sorry for your loss.

Don and Joyce played for funerals at St. Vincent de Paul on a regular basis.  They were fine musicians and had a love of liturgy.  I especially remember one funeral for a parishioner who was devoted to Mozart.  For that family, they pulled Ave Verum and an Alleluia out of their repertoire.  But one time when they stopped in the sacristy and asked if there were any special requests, a visiting priest (and opera buff) asked for the immolation of Brunhilde from Goetterdaemmerung, that stopped them dead in their tracks, until they realized he was joking.  May choirs of angels welcome her.

Joyce was a big part of our family especially to my Mom and Grandmother.  She will be greatly missed!

Wayne, so sorry to hear of your loss.  I know your mother meant so much to you and you will surely miss her.
