Sorry to hear of Mrs. Abernathy passing. I spent many happy moments laughing with her. Before she became ill, I used to take her to church events often. My thoughts and prayers are with the family!

Millie was a wonderful lady whom I got to know several years ago when I visited her then roommate Marge Miller.  I know anyone who knew her will miss her greatly!

I speak for many at Lake Park when I say her smile and sense of humor in the face of adversity was greatly admired. She will be missed by staff and patients who were her friends. Rest in peace Millie.

So sorry to read about the loss to your family. Facing the lost of someone so dear can be very devastating.  I have found that reading the words written in the bible about Jesus Christ and his love for mankind, has been an encouragement to many people.  He had deep love for mankind and it showed when his friend Lazarus died.  (John  11:35,36,41-44)  His father Jehovah God  Has given him the authority to eliminate death forever. (Is 25:8)  May the Abernathy family be strengthened by the love that God shows to all.

Gone to be with our Lord. I can imagine Mrs. Abernathy and my dear Mother smiling and laughing together again. Best friends in Heaven. So sad to learn of your loss.

Our sincere condolences to the entire family. She has truly earned eternal rest. May your grief be made lighter by fond memories.

Some of my very best young life memories involve Millie.  She was kind, compassionate, and man oh man, could she make a pie!  My deepest condolences to Larry, and her family.  She was one amazing lady!
