Phyllis A Williams

Phyllis A. Williams age 84, of Toledo passed away at Kingston Care on August 20, 2012. She was born in Toledo on December 21, 1927 to Theodore and Henrietta Pinkelman. Phyllis was a proud RN and worked at Mercy and St. Vincent’s and retired from LOF. She worked in labor and delivery and always had a special love for babies and children of all ages. Recently Phyllis was well known for her ark work. She was a devoted catholic at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns. She enjoyed golfing, cards, coloring and spending time with her family.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; children, Thomas and Robbie Williams; sisters, Marion, Ruth, Doris and Carol; brothers, Ted, Frank and Bob. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Williams; children, Larry (Sally) Williams, Dale (Gaye) Williams, Mary Jo (Gary Hoot) Shafer, Karen Shearer and Mark (Robin Alcock) Williams; grandchildren, Tracy, Amy, Angela, Justin, Jessie, Karina, Nathan, Heather, Ryan and Mark; great grandchildren, Devon, Braden, Erin, Logan, Payton, Olive and Ethan; brother, Walt Pinkelman; special friend, Barb Williams.

Visitation for Phyllis will be at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home (419-473-1301) on Monday, August 27 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns on Tuesday starting at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
