Adrian Lawrence Moore

Adrian Lawrence Moore, 66, of Vanceburg, Kentucky died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Drake Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on January 1, 1950 the son of the late Adrian Eugene Moore and the late Frances Swim Polly. Adrian was formerly employed at the US Shoe Factory in Vanceburg for many years. He also was employed at Fairlane Auto Sales in Vanceburg. He formerly attended the Cannan Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bloomfield Moore; one daughter, Melissa Richmond (Kermit) of Wallingford, KY; one son, Timothy Moore of Vanceburg, KY; two special grandchildren, Dakota Richmond and Alisha Richmond; four brothers, Arnold More (Judy) of Foxport, Allen Moore (Mary) of May’s Lick, Wilson Moore and Omer Moore both of Vanceburg; three sisters, Shirley Wright (Lawrence) of Wallingford, Barbara Dyer (Jack) and Geneva Brown (Doug) both of Vanceburg and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita McCane. Funeral services for Adrian Moore will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Burial will be at the Moore Family Cemetery on Quick’s Run Road, Vanceburg, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM.
