Beuford Lee McCormick

Beuford Lee McCormick, 66 of Tollesboro, passed away Monday July 18, 2016 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Born, December 2, 1949 to the late George Thomas and Nettie Bertha Blankenship McCormick. He was a United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam, attended Hickory Grove Church and retired from CSX after 34 years in the Engineering Department.

Mr. McCormick is survived by his loving wife Janet Lucille Tumlin McCormick, daughters; Tammy (Tim) Conley of Mooresville, NC, Shonda (Sam) Richmond of Emerson, KY, Jessica (Wes) Fetters of Leesburg, OH and Janice (David) Hickerson of Fleming County, KY, brother Donnie (Ruby) McCormick, sisters Rose (Alan) Merritt and Phyllis Gregory, sister in law Janet Ginn McCormick; grandsons and granddaughters Tyler Conley, Devan Conley, Adam Davis, Keri Davis, Dustin Fetters, Ethan Fetters, Noah Hickerson and Jenna Hickerson and great grandchild Ava Conley.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Lawrence, Sammy and Willie McCormick, and his sister Helen McCormick.

Funeral Services for Mr. McCormick will be Thursday, July 21, 2016, 1PM at Hickory Grove Church with Bro. Charles Emmons and Bro. John Lewis officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lewis County Memory Gardens with full military honors. Casket bearers will be Tyler Alexander Conley, Devan Allen Conley, Adam Michael Davis, Dustin Blake Fetters, Noah Scott Hickerson and Ethan Lane Fetters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 5-8PM at Hickory Grove Church.
