
Billy Ray Hull died March 2, 2013 at his residence in Maysville, Kentucky. Mr. Hull was born at “Big Cabin Creek” near Tollesboro on June 24, 1933 the son of the late Forest H. and Thelma Craig Hull. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Maysville and had worked for several missionary trips building churches in foreign countries and he was a graduate of Tollesboro High School in the class of ‘51. Billy Ray was a master in the art of Masonry, which his work can be seen on many prominent buildings and homes in Maysville and the surrounding area. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army. Survivors include his son, Shane Hull (Faith) of Vanceburg; four grandchildren, Sarah Hull and Blake Hull of Vanceburg and Micah Solomon and Danielle Solomon Smith of Alabama; two sisters, Dora Nell Peters of Maysville and Connie Kay McAdams of Tollesboro. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Shelley Hull Solomon and her husband, Rodney Solomon. Graveside services for Billy Ray Hull will be held at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories at 11 AM Tuesday, March 5, 2013 with Rev. Donald Scilley officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central United Methodist Church, 912 East Second Street, Maysville, KY 41056.
