Elizabeth Mingee

Elizabeth Ellen Mingee, 75, of Mason-Lewis Road died Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at The Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. Mrs. Mingee retired from US Shoe in Flemingsburg and was a member of Tollesboro Christian Church. She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on November 4, 1937 the daughter of the late Harrison Plank and Goldie Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Bradford of Maysville; her son, Ricky Mingee of Aberdeen, Ohio; Six grandchildren, Michelle Bradford, Adam Bradford, Ricky Mingee, Jr., Scotty Mingee, Aaron Mingee and Elizabeth Nicole Mingee; several great grandchildren and four sisters, Judy Anderson (Glenn) of Brookville, Indiana, Martha Hardin (Smokie) of Germantown, Betty Perkins (Bill) of Tilton and Lille Lee Jordan of Manchester. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Trent Bradford, her son-in-law, Bill Bradford and by a total of fourteen brothers and sisters. Services for Elizabeth Mingee will be held at the Hillcrest Garden of Memories at 1:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2012 with Rev. Phil Cropper officiating. There will be no visitation. Pallbearers will be Damian Downing, Matthew Earls, Ricky Mingee, Jr., Scotty Mingee and Aaron Mingee. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056. Arrangements are under the direction of the Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
