Geneva Dixon Boyd

Geneva Dixon Boyd, 83 of Lexington formerly of Tollesboro passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born June 8, 1931 to the Late John and Bertha Shaw Dixon in Hillsboro, OH. Mrs. Boyd was the widow of the Late Charles “Bud” Boyd who worked for 42 years at WFTM.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughters; Carma Mullikin, Constance (Philip) Trisler, both of Lexington and Cheryl (Jeff) Jones, Rocky Mount, NC; son; Charles Boyd Jr., Tallahassee, FL, sisters Juanita Rhodes, Seaman, OH, Mildred (Charles) Tucker, Maysville, Faye (Howard) Ginn, Charters, Carol (Gerald) Foster, Winchester, OH; grandchildren Jason and Justin Jones, Sara and Gavin Mullikin, Amanda and Adam Trisler and Melissa Light; great grandchildren Kaylen and McKenzie Mullinkin, Preston and Mason Light. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers Newell and Elmo Calvert.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Boyd will be Friday, August 8, 2014, 1 PM at Barbour and Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Trisler, Gavin Mullikin, Jeff Jones, Philip Trisler, C.T. Noble and Jack Bane. Visitation will be Friday 11AM til the hour of service.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Tollesboro United Methodist Church and Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
