

Mr. Polley was a 22 year veteran of the Lewis County Sherriff’s Department, a member of the Maysville VFW and a member of the St. Mary’s Masonic Lodge #240.
He is survived by his loving wife of fourty-nine years Roselyn Jenkins Polley; sons George (Sharon) Lightner, Washington, KY, Gregory (Rebecca)Polley Carthage, NC ; brothers Jessie “Jim” (Mary)of Richmond, IN, James (Rhonda) Gardner, of Vanceburg; sisters Marsha (Mike) Collins of Vanceburg, Jennifer (Billy) Castle of Foxport; grandchildren Shannon Lightner (Jeremy) and Seth Lightner, and Zoe, Caroline, and Rachael Polley; and great grandchild Luke Allen Curtis and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Polley will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, 11AM at the Tollesboro Christian Church with Chaplain John Byard officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. Members of the Sherriff’s department will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stanley Adams, Jeff Polley, Seth Lightner, D.J. Jenkins, Joel McCann, Nicholas Collins and Josh Castle.
Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2016, 5-8PM at the church.
