

Gregory Allen Moore, 46, of Burtonville Road near Tollesboro passed away Saturday morning, Sept. 3, 2011, at his home after a short illness.
He was born at Hayswood Hospital in Maysville July 10, 1965 to Arnold C. Moore and the late Erma Jones Moore.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley and Ethel Jones.
In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Derek Tyler Moore at home; one sister Carmella (Carl) Haight of Flemingsburg; and one niece Carla Ann Haight of Flemingsburg.
He is also survived by three aunts, Alma Moore of Vanceburg, Julie Rehm of Baltimore, MD. and Gail (Ray) May of Foxport Road, Wallingford in Fleming County and two cousins, Elden May and Lareinn Ritchie, both of Lexington.
He is also survived by his Ex-wife, Becky Moore
He was a 1983 graduate of Lewis County High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He was former employee of U.S. Shoe and Emerson Power Transmission in Maysville.
Greg loved life. He enjoyed playing baseball many years and he enjoyed watching his son play baseball. Greg coached many youth in Lewis and Mason counties in sports. Gregory was a member of the Galilee Christian Church.
Visitation will be 5 - 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Barbour & Son Funeral Home, 3378 West Kentucky 10 in Tollesboro.
Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept 7, 2011 at Barbour & Son Funeral Home with Brothers Phillip Cropper and Ryan Shellenbarger officiating with burial in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Scott Osborne, Carl Haight, Elden May, Dr. Michael Boyd, Mark Evans, David Geoing, Trevor Taylor and Connor Osborne.
Arrangements under the direction of Barbour & Son Funeral Home, Tollesboro, Kentucky.
