Linda Connie Mason

Linda Connie Mason, 67, of Vanceburg, Kentucky died Thursday, November 05, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Mason was the widow of Jimmy L. Mason who died May 15, 2013. She was a member of the East Fork Christian Church. Mrs. Mason was born in Lewis County, Kentucky on August 24, 1948 the daughter of the late Bruce Harlin Highfield and Lillian Mason Highfield. She is survived by her son, Jackie Lloyd Mason (Teresa) of Maysville, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Alexandra Mason; two step grandsons, Justin Wheeler and Zachary Crosby; brothers, Bruce Highfield, Jr., Harry “Bubby” Highfield both of Tollesboro, KY, Kenny Highfield of Mt. Olivet, KY, Ray Highfield (Debbie) of Germantown, KY and James Poole of Columbus, OH; sisters, Annie Penrod, Opal Truesdell (Tom), Joyce Nolder (Brent) and Margaret Tully (Hoss) all of Tollesboro, KY, Katie Bess (Sonny) and Della Kabler (Steve) both of Maysville, KY. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa Marie Highfield and Regina Sue Truesdell. Funeral services for Linda Connie Mason will be held at the Barbour and Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, November 9, 2015 with Bro. Bruce Heller officiating. Burial will be in the East Fork Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Highfield, Justin Wheeler, Chris Mineer, Johnathan Mineer, Travis Ginn, Taylor Truesdell, Dustin Bradford and Tony Tully. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
