Sandraq Ann Simpson

She was born January 8, 1947 in Mason County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Harmon and Martha Workman Simpson.

Survivors include her sister Brenda Simpson and her wife Sara Fackelman, of Florida, two Aunts, Janie Applegate of Tollesboro, and Mary Jo Simpson from Cabin Creek, Tollesboro; one Uncle, Milt Simpson from Tollesboro, many cousins including Charlie Gilbert from Ewing and close friends, Lisa, Martha, Deloris, Dustin, John, Sue, the Jackson's, Janet and Cookie.

She was retired from Johnson Control and Toyota. She loved to travel. She was kind and generous to family and friends. She loved helping people whether it was helping someone research a problem, giving advice on retirement, or sharing a hot meal with those she worried were not getting one. She spent many years working on genealogy and family history.

Memorial services for Sandra Simpson will be held at 11:00 AM at the Maysville Cemetery Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2016. There will be no visitation. The arrangements are entrusted with the Barbour and Son Funeral Home.
