

surrounded by close family. Anthony was born November 19, 1938 to Vito and Maria
Lombardo in Tunis, Tunisia. He was the youngest of six children, all of which were girls.
Anthony moved to the United States as a teenager and lived in Brooklyn, NY. He met
his beautiful bride and wife of 61 years, Rose Mezzafonte in 1958.
An avid hobbyist, Anthony spent most of his life scratch building model airplanes and
boats. He loved sports, especially the New York Mets and New York Rangers. He
worked as a machine builder, designing machines used in the garment industry.
Anthony is survived by his wife Rose; along with three children; John and Michelle
Lombardo of Phoenix, Arizona, Michele and Paul Curcio of Northport, NY, and Richard
Lombardo of Austin, TX; six grandchildren; John Lombardo, Lisa Lombardo, Jessica
Lombardo, Savino Curcio, Sierra Lombardo, and Julianna Curio; and many loving
nieces, nephews, and relatives.
Memorial services for Anthony Lombardo will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, February
29, 2020 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Crystal Rose, 9155 W Van
Buren St., Tolleson, AZ 85353. Burial will follow at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery,
401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be
