Carlos Alberto Contreras nació en Ixtlán Michoacán De Ocampo un 4 de noviembre del 1956. A sus 17 años vino a vivir a Estados Unidos donde trabajó muy duro para ayudar a su familia en México. Fue viviendo en San Diego California donde conoció a su esposa Ramona con quien tuvo 3 hijos, Carla, César Y María Paulina.

Durante toda su vida se dedicó ayudar a su prójimo y ser un hombre muy trabajador para sacar a su familia adelante.

Difícilmente le oías decir "no" especialmente a sus hijos. Fue un hombre bromista, travieso y con muchas historias por contar, las favoritas siendo de cuando era pequeño y hacía travesuras en el pueblo. Vivió siguiéndole el rollo a sus hijos en sus ocurrencias y siempre cumpliendo sus antojos.

Siempre vivirá en nuestros corazones y nuestros recuerdos. Así que ojo, que solo se ha ido su cuerpo, el sigue con un ojo dormido y el otro a la "espetativa".

Our amazing father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, cousin and friend left us too soon.

Carlos Alberto Contreras can't be described in just a few words.

Firstly, he was not just an amazing father but THE best. He didn't love anything more than his kids and made sure they knew it. Apart from amazing father he was such a loving and caring brother, husband, uncle, cousin and friend. He never let anybody be a stranger for too long before he made a new friend. He loved to tell jokes and stories to anybody that would listen, which ended up being everybody, because he was also the best storyteller. He is so well loved by many because of how genuine and kind he was, he never hesitated to help someone that needed it and never asked for anything in return.

He's lived quite the life here on earth but now it's heaven's turn for the best stories, the best advice, the best jokes, the best friend, brother, uncle, cousin and most importantly the best father they'll ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Carlos fuiste un buen hombre, amigo, hermano, un maravilloso esposo pero sobretodo el mejor papá del mundo, gracias por dejarme lo más hermoso que una mujer puede tener; a nuestros hijos. Sí en otra vida nos volvemos a ver me volvería a casar contigo sin dudarlo.

Le sobreviven su esposa: Ramona Contreras, sus hijos: Carla, César (Elena), y María Paulina, sus nietos: Kona, Rocky, y Rosie

Queremos agradecerles su apoyo cariño y las palabras de consuelo que hemos recibido en estos días tan difíciles.
