A Celebration of Life for Carmen Valenzuela Juarez
Carmen Valenzuela Juarez was born on November 7, 1934 in Villa de Seris (Hermosillo), Sonora, Mexico to Luis and Beatriz Valenzuela. She departed on her Celestial journey November 28, 2019. She met and married her soul mate, Rudolph Hill Juarez (who survives her) on May 19, 1955 in Phoenix, Arizona and again with a church ceremony in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico on January 15, 1956. She is also survived by her children who were the center of her life: Luis (Lenora), Rudy, Ben (Sue), Rose Ann, Henry (Christina), Carlos II (Katrina). She is preceded in death by her twin children Carlos I and Carolina; and a granddaughter, Yevette Juarez. Carmen is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, her caretaker Cynthia Valenzuela; her siblings: German Valenzuela, Josephine Hornback, Yolanda Soza, Rosa Garcia, and Beatriz Llanos; and many relatives and friends. Although we will miss her deeply we celebrate and are thankful for the gift of 85 years with Carmen. During her time with us she taught us to love, live, respect, be resilient, have dignity, stand up for justice, and to be compassionate. Most importantly she taught us how to be a family and to always love and support each other. Her legacy and spirit lives on in each life that she touched. Donations “In Memory of Carmen V.
