

Constance Jones, a woman as tough as nails and as warm as the Nevada sun, passed away on May 10, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona, at the age of 93½ following a severe fall.
Born on September 19, 1932, in Nevada during the heart of the Great Depression, Constance grew up in a world shaped by hardship, sacrifice, and resilience. Born into an era of Model T automobiles and dirt roads, she witnessed nearly a century of extraordinary change as the world transitioned from horse-drawn wagons to the modern age.
Over the course of her remarkable life, she lived through history’s defining moments, including World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Watergate scandal, the Gulf War, the September 11 attacks, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through every era, Constance carried herself with grit, grace, and an unshakable spirit. She embodied the strength of a generation that endured hardship without losing warmth, humor, or compassion. Her life was a testament to perseverance, family, and courage.
She is survived by her loving son, Robert Jones; grandson, Bradley Jones; great-grandson, Brayden Jones; daughter-in-law, Anita Jones; and granddaughter-in-law, Autumn Jones. She is also survived by her beloved niece, Fran Garrison, and her nephews, Cliff Garrison, Garlan Wells, Chauncey Wells, and Gavin Wells.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
