

Denise Minnie Hansen, 71, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Tolleson, Arizona. Born on February 17, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah, she lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and deep love for her family.
Over the course of more than 25 years in the security industry, Denise built a career defined by hard work and commitment. Her professional life reflected the same strength and determination that she brought to every aspect of her personal life.
Denise was a devoted mother to Nydia Watts, Louis (Luke) Overson, and Amanda Caratachea. She also lovingly raised two of her grandchildren, Ricky and Bryan Geesey, who held a special place in her heart. Her legacy continues through her twelve adoring grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by her older brother and younger sister.
She was preceded in death by her father Merrill Hansen, mother Hazel Dalton, and brother David Hansen.
Denise found joy in simple pleasures—strumming her guitar, exploring aquariums, playing miniature golf, and watching movies with her children and grandchildren. These moments were filled with laughter and warmth—qualities that Denise radiated effortlessly. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh left lasting impressions on all who knew her.
Her strength, caring nature, authenticity, and unwavering spirit made her truly unforgettable. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
