

Eleanora Anita Johnson was born January 9, 1948 and passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 77 surrounded by loved ones. Eleanora was born near Gray Mountain Arizona as the daughter of Phyllis Riggs and Harry Riggs. As she grew up, her family moved to Leupp AZ. Later she lived in Utah for a few extended periods with fostering LDS families. While attending high school in Flagstaff she briefly lived with her last foster family the Willmans. She met her husband Leroy during high school and soon after high school had her first child and moved to Phoenix, AZ. After moving to Phoenix, she would later have two more children. She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the late 90s. She showed incalculable strength surviving with the disease till complications inevitably took her from us. She is survived by her husband Leroy Johnson, their three children Veronica, Stacey, and Leroy Jr, her 15 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
As a member of the LDS faith, she truly demonstrated unending kindness and love for her family and anyone she met. Her Heavenly Father would truly be proud. She had a passion for handcrafts and loved trips to fabric and hobby stores. She shared her passions happily creating blankets, stuffed animals, dresses, quilts and such for her family and friends. She loved her BYU television programming with their modest media. Her favorite music was country with George Straight as her all-time favorite music artist. She positively touched so many lives by being always willing to help anyone who would reach out to her. She was truly a heavenly example in this world and she will be forever dearly missed and loved.
