Elisa Diaz Tarango

She was a graduate of Tolleson High School and she attended Lamson Business College. Elisa worked at Zellerbach Paper Company for 35 years. She worked as a Book Keeper, an Accountant and Teacher Aid at Underdown Jr. High in Special Education. She loved to volunteer at local elementary schools and to teach religious studies at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Elisa was proud to be apart of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for over 40 years. In addition, she was the Treasurer at the Tolleson Senior Center. Her hobbies included bowling, softball and she loved to travel.

Elisa had a great attention to detail and could name any herb and their benefits. She was an avid conservationist and believed in taking care of the Earth around her. She had a great impact on her loved ones by volunteering countless hours in the community, at schools and at church.

Elisa is preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Catalina Tarango; her siblings Connie Simental, Fermin Tarango and Margarita Tarango. She is survived by Sisters Mary Ellen Medrano, Lucille Crowell; Brothers Frank Tarango and Ernest Tarango; and 21 Nieces and Nephews.
