Francisco Bustos Jr., known to may as Frank, passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 51. He was born on May 10, 1973, in Avondale, AZ, the place he called home throughout his life. Frank was a man of routine and found joy in simple pleasures. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Frank joins his father, Francisco Bustos Sr. in eternal rest and leaves behind his wife, Jessie Bustos, his sons, Frankie, Bobby and Jacob. His grandchildren, Emma and Jayce, his mother, Emma, sisters Monica and Jackie, mother and father-in-law, Richard and Mercy Perez, sister-in-law, Becky, brothers-in-law, Hank, Ronnie, Richard and Martin, and daughter-in-law, Jazmin. He was surrounded by an abundance of nieces and nephews on both sides of his family who all loved him and appreciated his sense of humor dearly. His memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives he impacted.
Frank had a strong work ethic and served as the Branch Manager for Independent Electric. He took pride in his commitment and loyalty to his work. Outside of work, Frank enjoyed various hobbies, including tending to his yard, washing his vehicles, and listening to music. He had an eclectic taste in music and was a fan of artists such as Dwight Yoakam, Midland, Metallica, and so many more. Wherever he went, he was in tow with the ice chest, portable speaker, and a playlist with a collection of various music artists.
Frank was a man who loved his family whole-heartedly. He cherished spending time with his wife, Jessie, she was his high school sweetheart and lifelong best friend. They shared a beautiful bond together. Frank also loved his truck, low rider custom Rams bike, and of course, the Los Angeles Rams. Baseball was his favorite sport, but he also enjoyed watching football and a variety of sitcoms and movies.
Frank’s impact on others was profound. He possessed a kind and giving nature, always willing to help family and friends without expecting anything in return. He was a man of his word, finishing what he started, and always showed up for those who needed him. His heart was big and full of love and compassion. Frank’s genuine loyalty and commitment were admired by those who knew him. In his spare time, Frank loved being home, but still found time to take small trips and outings and treasured those moments spent with his family. His faith was strong and his relationship with God was beautiful.
Francisco Bustos Jr. will be remembered as a passionate, loyal, and hardworking man. His loss is deeply felt, but his legacy of love and commitment will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Services for Frank will be held on June 21, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows Priory, 750 E. Baseline Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85041from 10:00am-12:00pm, with the burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 9925 W. Thomas Rd. Avondale, AZ 85392. A Celebration of Life will also follow and details on the location will be shared soon.
