Gloria Leyva Cano, nacida en Cananea, Sonora, México, falleció rodeada del amor de su familia. Durante los últimos 48 años, vivió en Arizona, donde construyó una vida llena de dedicación, creatividad, fe y profunda devoción hacia las personas que amaba.

Gloria fue una madre, abuela, bisabuela y hermana cariñosa. Le sobreviven sus hijos John, Joseph, Vanessa (Jay) y Yvette (Kenny); sus queridos nietos Priscilla (Greg), Briana (Isai), Vanessa, Solana, Jonathan, Everette y Zariah; y sus queridos bisnietos Cameron, Omari, Julian, Christian, Emmanuel, Elianna y Nicholas. La familia de Gloria era su mayor orgullo y su logro más preciado. También le sobreviven sus cinco hermanos y seis hermanas.

Mujer de talento y creatividad notables. Gloria adoraba la jardinería, la costura, la pintura, hacer rompecabezas, ganchillo y cualquier proyecto que le permitiera trabajar con las manos. Le gustaba hacer las cosas por si misma lo que era notable en cada rincón de su hogar y en los hogares de sus seres queridos. A lo largo de su vida, desenpeno una variedad de trabajos pero su trabajo favorito fue ser costurera —Sus trabajos le permitieron reflejar su habilidad con las manos y su amor hacia la creatividad.

Gloria también estuvo profundamente dedicada a su fe durante los últimos 35 años. Como testigo de Jehová devota. Dedico su tiempo, energía y amor como precursora regular. Su bondad, humildad y firme fe fueron una inspiración para todos los que la conocieron.

Hermosa, inteligente e infinitamente ingeniosa, Gloria era el corazón de su familia: una mujer cuya calidez, fortaleza y devoción serán recordadas para siempre. Su legado vive en la generación que ella cuidó , animó y amó con tanta intensidad.

Gloria Leyva Cano, born in Cananea, Sonora, México, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. For the last 48 years, she made her home in Arizona, where she built a life filled with dedication, creativity, faith, and deep devotion to the people she loved.

Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her children John, Joseph, Vanessa (Jay), and Yvette (Kenny); her cherished grandchildren Priscilla (Greg), Briana (Isai), Vanessa, Solana, Jonathan, Everette, and Zariah; and her beloved great-grandchildren Cameron, Omari, Julian, Christian, Emmanuel, Elianna, and Nicholas. She is also survived by her five brothers and six sisters. Gloria’s family was her greatest pride and her most treasured accomplishment.

A woman of remarkable talent and creativity, Gloria loved gardening, sewing, painting, doing puzzles, crocheting, and any project that allowed her to work with her hands. She was a true DIY master whose artistic spirit touched every corner of her home and the lives of those around her. Throughout her life, she worked in many roles, most proudly as a caregiver and seamstress—careers that reflected her gentle heart and skilled hands.

Gloria was also deeply dedicated to her faith. As a devoted Jehovah’s Witness and an active pioneer, she poured her time, energy, and love into her ministry and her congregation. Her kindness, humility, and steadfast belief were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Beautiful, smart, and endlessly resourceful, Gloria was the heart of her family—a woman whose warmth, strength, and devotion will be remembered forever. Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured, encouraged, and loved so fiercely.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the light she carried so gracefully throughout her life.
